It was the final day of Pack Expo and we were excited to check out ProMach’s Systems and Integration lines and the ProMach Pharma Solutions booths. These product brands have each brought new and updated machinery that were popular spots on the show floor.
We first stopped at the impressive booth of Statco-DSI, leaders in processing equipment and system integrators for the sanitary processing market. Statco-DSI specializes in designing and building inline blending systems, ESL/Aseptic processing systems, and dry hopping systems, and much more.
Continuing down 3rd street we stopped at ZPI to learn about their three systems of software that can help improve your OEE and minimize downtime: Monitor and Report, Serialize and Track, and Maintain and Predict. With ZPI’s software-based production line data collection Monitor and Report, customers can capture real-time production line performance data from every machine in a line. They can also analyze it, identify the root causes of line downtime, and implement corrective actions to eliminate it. The latest version of Monitor and Report, on display today, included new OEE reporting and analytic capabilities that further enhance the ability for users to quickly and accurately identify the root causes of downtime and lost productivity. That’s powerful software!
The final stop was the Pharmaceutical booths and their impressive layout of machines and new integrations. A highlight of the booth was the Pharmaworks TF2 blister machine integrated with a Serpa P100 Cartoner. Traditionally, the transferring of blister packs to cartoners is a problematic process, as with so many moving pieces on the line and most transfers being mechanically based, inefficiencies connecting the two machines are common. The Pharmaworks TF2 blister machine integrated with the Serpa P100 Cartoner removes these asynchronous challenges of integrating a blister machine and cartoner with their Linear Transport System. This transport system is electro-magnetic allowing for a seamless and smooth transfer of the two technologies, resulting in high output and reduced errors, such as curled blisters.
Thanks to everyone who came out to the show and stopped by our booths. It was a great three days of learning and exploring all of ProMach’s packaging solutions. See you next year!
