The new Learning Circle webinar series aims to support women in packaging and processing looking to advance their skills and their careers
The Packaging and Processing Women’s Leadership Network (PPWLN) recently introduced a new quarterly Learning Circle webinar series aimed at supporting women in packaging and processing to advance their careers. These interactive sessions are an extension of the PPWLN and will focus on five essential skill sets including business acumen, networking, negotiation, emotional intelligence, and communication. The Learning Circles will feature insights and inspiration from industry experts and women leaders in the packaging and processing fields.
The first session, taking place on March 21st at 1 pm, will delve into their first topic, business acumen. This session will highlight the significance of understanding the financial aspect of manufacturing for career development, irrespective of role. Lisa Propati, a seasoned industry expert and Vice President & GM at WLS, a ProMach brand and leader advanced rotary and in-line pressure sensitive labeling, will provide valuable insights on how comprehending the flow of money through an organization can impact company initiatives and processes. Industry expert Bob Hersh, national managing principal of the manufacturing industry at tax advisory consulting firm Grant Thorton, will also be a part of the webinar. Attendees can also participate in a Q&A session to address their concerns and queries.
