Dairy Foods Plant of the Year for 2022 was recently awarded to Byrne LLC of Dewitt, NY for their achievements in aseptic production, food safety, and sustainability. The fourth-generation dairy plant, as well as another of their facilities in Cortland, NY, are running primarily dairy products, relying on ProMach product brand Statco-DSI Process Systems for their Therma-Stat UHT processors—in both ESL and low acid aseptic capacities. This innovative UHT technology pairs well with Statco-DSI’s tank and filler routing solutions such as their Therma-Surge, Therma-Route, and Therma-FVS.

This seamless Statco-DSI approach to processing and routing maximizes plant operational efficiency and is easily expandable to accommodate industry growth. To that end, Byrne went from running just a handful up to over 20 SKUs—with future expansion into other markets at their 200,000 sq ft facility.
