Expo Pack, one of Latin America’s largest packaging industry events, took place last week in the historic city of Guadalajara. The ProMach booth showcased innovative packaging solutions with ProMach product brands Matrix, Pacific, Pace, Axon, Fogg, P.E. Labellers, and Zalkin, who all seized the opportunity to present their packaging solutions to the attendees. Here are a few highlights from the show floor.
Flexible Solutions with Matrix’s MVI-280E Vertical Form Fill Machine
Matrix, a ProMach product brand and leader in vertical form, fill, seal; pre-made pouches, and more, caught attendee’s attention with their MVI-280E vertical form fill machine. The Matrix machines are made in the USA and are capable of producing a wide range of bag sizes and types, including pillow, gusset, flat bottom and modified doy. Their team members are experts in product applications and offer solutions in food, beverage, pet care, nutraceuticals, IQF and non-food products.
Matrix is the master distributor of Pacraft (formerly Toyo Jidoki). Also in Matrix’s booth was the Pacraft Pre-Made Pouch Filler/Sealer TT-8D-N that ran traditional and recyclable pouches. This pre-made pouch filler and sealer is designed for applications in the frozen foods, seafood, snacks, rice and other grains, noodles, pet foods, granular and powder products, and much more. By incorporating eco-friendly materials into their packaging solutions, Pacraft is committed to reducing environmental impact while maintaining exceptional performance. This approach aligns with the growing consumer demand for sustainable packaging.
Elevating Inline Capping Systems with the PackWest Model 200
In the Pacific booth, the PackWest Model 200 was the spotlight with its inline spindle capping systems that featured best in class spindle or quill style cap application technology. As the leader in inline capping systems for screw-on closers, PackWest’s capabilities optimize packaging efficiency. Their inline screw-on cappers are widely used in the personal care, household cleaning, laundry, automotive, food, and industrial chemical product categories.
PackWest inline screw-on cappers are available in two primary configurations:
6-spindle models offering speeds up to 150 cpm (9,000 cph)
8-spindle models offering speeds up to 300 cpm (18,000 cph)
Pace’s Omni-Line Unscramblers and a Revitalization of Products
Pace highlighted their Omni-Line unscramblers, a well-established product line, and promoted the upcoming arrival of a robotic unscrambler. Additionally, Pace emphasized its plans to revitalize its existing product range, with enhanced performances for customer’s production line.
Axon’s Aurora 4.0: Advanced Shrink Sleeve Labeling
Axon, an industry leader in shrink sleeve labeling, presented their latest Aurora 4.0 shrink sleeve applicator. The Aurora 4.0 boasts speeds of up to 400 bpm, container or multipack sizes: 1.2″ (30 mm) to 4.9″ (125 mm), and changeovers in less than 10 minutes. This machine delivers exceptional labeling quality while maximizing productivity.
