We’re here at the Anaheim Convention Center for day 1 of WestPack. ProMach product brands are showcasing innovation from labeling and coding, flexibles, to end of line for the west coast market. We stopped by ProMach product brand Matrix and spoke with Regional Sales Manager, Spencer Johnson to walk us through their fully functioning packaging line filling 2oz bags of candy, created for the WestPack show. Spencer walked us through the components of the line, which included the Mercury high-speed vertical form fill seal bagger with ProMach product brand CL&D rollstock film, paired with a Spee-Dee cup filler, conveyed, and dropped into a formed case from ProMach product brand’s Wexxar Bel Case Erector and Sealer. This is a great solution, especially for customers who need to save space in their plants while maximizing efficiency for flexible fillings. Compostable film is also available for customers looking for sustainability options.
Impressive, right? But Matrix didn’t stop there. Also running at their booth is the Morpheus MVC-300 continuous motion vertical form fill seal machine. The machine boasts the new addition of remote diagnostics and advanced connectivity control, allowing the MVC-300 continuous box-motion to run in all types of conditions and with a huge range of products and applications, such as snacks and fresh-cut foods.
